How to choose a logo designer?
Hi!
We need a logo for our technological consulting company.
It's not a B2C business, so the logo isn't extremely important, and yet we would like something that looks professional and slick.
The budget is around 100$.
Is there anything we should know before publishing in Fiverr and choosing a freelancer randomly?
Any tips or advises would be much appreciated :-)

If you just need something simple in the near term, hatchful.shopify.com does a good job of generating a logo for you.
I'd think about two things here:
do you really need a logo right now? Determine if it's better to spend that money on getting more customers instead, so you can build a bigger budget for a proper logo design.
If your answer to 1 is yes - for $100, try to find a talented friend or connection that will do you a favor for you. Give them $100 and free access to your tool. If Fiverr is your option, filter freelancers by reviews and only work with those you can clearly communicate with.
You get what you pay for.

I completely agree with the statement "you get what you pay for". Do you know how much would a good, professional logo cost?
a full rebranding and new logo would be 5 figures - save that for when you get above 100K MRR : )
