How to choose my hourly rate as a senior developer?
Hi all,
I'm beginning to do freelancing projects, and I'm a Bubble developer.
The problem is that, while I believe I'm developing more quickly compared to a junior developer, clients still see the hourly rates as the primary criterion.
So between an hourly rate of $30/h and mine ($60/h), clients just choose the cheapest one, even if I can do the work 2-3 times more quickly.
How would you deal with that?
I believe this problem can be extended to freelancing in general, not only for developers.

You need to have a good portfolio so that they can see the quality and extend of the work you can do. Without portfolio your hourly rate is what it will be compared as. If you can explain that you create X in X hours they will be able to see your value. You also need to be in the right channels to promote yourself. You should have a link here maybe linking to the place you're trying to get hired for you might get a client that way.
Where you are trying to find clients?
Maybe you should approach a project based fee instead of a hourly rate. This way they can see the value in what you do.
