Directly a question to the community. We are currently developing and adding many effects and filters to the video editor, which entails some negative side - an increase in video processing time. Consequently, some users do not want to wait and leave. At the moment, competitors do not have such functionality, but the processing speed is several times higher than ours.
I think you faced such a problem when, when increasing the functionality of your service, the question of optimizing it was raised. However, it is not always possible to neutralize this effect by technical means, so all kinds of marketing moves go into battle.
How can we tell users to wait for their online generation? It is clear that we send a notification of its completion to some users, but to others ... Ie. how to describe the value of this service at the penultimate step of the final video generation iteration.
Btw, project - Pixiko
Really! 👹 Sometimes looking at some project with fantastic traffic and poor functionality I think: "What the hell is going on?!" 🤣
...then, however, I roll up my sleeves and continue to work)))
There are really two directions you can go:
OR
If you go that route, I would try to get them into a tutorial on how to use your product better / faster / get more value from it.
If your service is really effective and unique, then the user will wait for the result.
why not make an accelerated version for those who do not plan to use the new functionality?
This is already built in and is supposed to be an option - the use of new effects. Naturally, this is reflected only when they are used in combination. Before that, we used a simpler version of the editor, which had only the basic functions; we also thought about the option of taking each separate function into its own tool. But we decided to let users do it right away in the editor. New creative ideas often come along in the process!
