I am developing an application by myself and I already have the application about to finish. (which I am very excited about) Currently I have it hosted on google cloud divided into 2 servers. Mysql and Wildfly Webserver (Angular, RESTFul api, Websocket).
My question would be what requirement should I configure to have optimal performance in the server issue.
I know that this can vary according to how it has been programmed and the type of use that is given to the application. But let's say in general terms:
I really appreciate any help.
Thank you very much in advance
Hi,
We don't have all the existing infra specs but I would say running this on 2 servers only will be problematic. How do you manage the traffic load of the servers ? If they get heavily used they will probably be overloaded. How do you ensure high availability and handle failure ? And so on ...
Looks like you are doing a two tier design, a web frontend and database if I understand correctly. You should use load balancing, Auto scaling, design for failure, use managed database for the MySQL ...if this needs to be in production and will have to handle some real live traffic it need to follow cloud best practices.
We can help for this, we provide cloud expertise, we also simplify cloud Deployments, those setups are our day to day job. Send us a mail at info@cloudbuddies if interested ;)
