Hi,
I have been cold emailing my potential users for the last few weeks (20-30 on a daily basis). We saw around 5-10% conversion in terms of signup, but a lot of those users aren't fully converted yet. To explain the scenario let me try to explain a bit about what my Platform does.
We are building Hire the Author, a platform that allows niche creators to offer 1:1 consultations / monthly chat-based subscriptions (mentoring, interview prep guidance, career guidance, etc )to their audience.
For a user to be fully converted, he has to signup, link their Stripe account for payment integration, add free slots, and share their profile link with their audience. We have around 85 signups right now (35 from friends and family who are not the target audience), and the remaining are niche creators.
The biggest hurdle in the onboarding flow is setting up a Stripe account integration, which around 30 users have already done, but we only have 5-6 users who are actively sharing their profile links.
Our platform relies heavily on users sharing their links to generate bookings, but what I have seen is that a lot of my users are becoming inactive/unresponsive via email/LinkedIn even post linking their Stripe account.
Personally, I don't feel like spamming them too much as well, but I try to send a reminder message once or twice a week.
Is there any recommendation to convert these users/ to ensure that this doesn't happen in the first place.
Is this a common problem faced by everyone
