Hey everyone,
Wanted to know what's the best way to add a blog to a landing page for a SaaS product.
Should it be done on the same platform as the landing page if I'm using a no-code builder (i.e., Webflow, Carrd, Softr, Bubble), or should I create the blog on another platform (i.e., Squarespace) and link it to the Landing page?
Curious to know what's the best option for SEO and how you're doing it.
Thanks!
Hi there,
Great question! In terms of SEO, it's typically best to have your blog on the same domain as your landing page. This way, your blog content is credited to your own domain and can contribute to your overall site authority. In addition, it's easier for visitors to navigate between your landing page and blog if they're both on the same platform.
Ultimately, the best option for you will depend on your specific needs and preferences. But as a general rule, keeping your blog on the same domain as your landing page can help improve your SEO and user experience.
Hope that helps!
Makes sense! So having a blog on a no code platform like Webflow or Bubble won't impact the SEO?
Yes oc. I'm creating my entire website on Webflow but unfortunately my website is closed for several reasons so I cannot show you =(((
Hey there,
When it comes to incorporating a blog into a landing page for a SaaS product, there are a few considerations to keep in mind. Both options you mentioned have their pros and cons.
If you're using a no-code builder like Webflow, Carrd, Softr, or Bubble, integrating the blog directly on the same platform can offer convenience and streamline the management of your website. It allows you to have all your content in one place, making it easier to update and maintain. However, you may need to check if the chosen builder provides robust blogging features that meet your specific needs.
On the other hand, utilizing a separate platform like Squarespace for your blog provides dedicated blogging functionality. This can be advantageous if you require advanced blogging features, such as specific SEO plugins, extensive customization options, or if you already have an existing blog on Squarespace that you want to leverage. In this case, you can link the blog to your landing page, ensuring a seamless user experience.
In terms of SEO, both options can work well if implemented correctly. If you decide to integrate the blog on the same platform, make sure the builder allows you to optimize your blog posts for search engines, including meta tags, keywords, and clean URL structures. Additionally, pay attention to the loading speed and mobile responsiveness of your website, as these factors contribute to SEO performance.
If you choose to use a separate platform for your blog, ensure that you properly configure the integration with your landing page. Use proper cross-linking and maintain consistent branding and navigation throughout both platforms. Also, focus on optimizing your blog content for SEO by conducting keyword research, creating valuable and shareable content, and following best practices for on-page optimization.
Ultimately, the best option depends on your specific requirements and preferences. Consider the functionality, ease of use, SEO capabilities, and overall user experience when making your decision. Good luck with adding your blog to your SaaS landing page!
Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions.
Thanks for that elaborate answer, I appreciate it!
We used the same domain for our blog for https://fabform.io as it helps with ranking on Google SERP.
Ok got it. And you think that if I build my landing page with a no-code tool I can still create the blog on the same platform, and it'll be fine with the SEO?
If you are using a no-code builder like Webflow or Carrd for your landing page, it can be convenient to add the blog functionality within the same platform. This allows for seamless integration, consistent branding, and easy management of both the landing page and blog content in one place. Also, it helps to maintain a cohesive user experience for your visitors. However, tracking plays a vital role in SEO... Got it - thanks!
The best is to use the same platform than the one you use for the landing page
If you’re on bubble, I would use another tool though, especially because of the new pricing
Got it. What do you think of Webflow?
I love Webflow I use it a lot + good tool to make a blog
Is it good for SEO though?
Yes, very good for seo!
Nice, good to know
