How to distribute an online course?
Hello everyone! This is my first post here.
I have been creating a course on a very niche programming language. It is quite basic, all it has is text, images and code snippets.
What I would like to do is create some kind of ecommerce site where people can read the first chapters of this course for free, and buy access to the full content if they are interested. The functionality would be something like this:
- User creates account on my website
- User buys access using Stripe or Paypal
- User can now read the exclusive content
The thing is, my web development skills are not that great, and I don't know how to carry out these 3 steps. All I know is HTML, wordpress and Linux/command line scripting.
Does anyone know some kind of framework for doing this? Preferably free?

You can use Teachable, perhaps.
Why not an eBook?
The best places I can think of for that are Gumroad and Podia.
If you're going to offer your content as a course, you can still use online course platforms like Podia, Teachable, Thinkific, and many more. You're not required to have videos.
Thanks, I will look into those. I have thought of creating an ebook, but a course seems more engaging to users, and it also seems like users are willing to spend more on a course :P
