How to do customer discovery vs. reading about it.

Building products that nobody wants can be a gut punch. It's a really sucky feeling (and I've been there before).

One way to avoid that is by reaching out and talking to potential customers. However, it's easier said (or read about) than done. That's why I built YourHundred (https://yourhundred.com) - A 6-week challenge meant to help resource-strapped entrepreneurs have early customer discovery conversations that lead to actionable insights that help them build products people want.

At the end of the day whether you're reading "The Mom Test" or "Deploy Empathy", or books around Jobs To Be Done, or UX research, actually doing the work and implementing the structures is what leads to results.

Would love your feedback on the landing page!

Hey @nmillsro, I really like the idea of this. I think the landing page looks pretty good. Overall, my feedback would be that I am curious about what the product does?

I understand the concept but quotes like "We provide frameworks and scripts for outreach that will make your potential customer happy to speak with you. " make me wonder what those frameworks and scripts do. I think it would be good to highlight what the software does and how it will make a concrete impact.

    Cheers!

Appreciate the feedback! And yup completely agree. We are actually in the stages of putting some finishing touches on those tools so people can start playing around with them. (We'll be linking to them in the copy on the page) They should be up and running for people to access within the week - to make the landing page more concrete. Thanks again!
