Hi All
Happy Sunday! I’m about to get into marketing my little side hustle. My primary audience will be on LinkedIn and Twitter too. For my day job, however, I rely heavily on LinkedIn as a platform.
I don’t want to confuse my audiences with messages about two distinct jobs. Day job vs hustle but I want to be active somehow.
The only strategy I can think of is start a LinkedIn company page and start reaching out via comments as the company.
What are your strategies to manage your social media presences when you need them for the day job and the hustle?
I am using a similar strategy. You can share your comment from your account.
When it comes to LinkedIn, I would skip on the company page for now and rather focus on producing content that is related to your project, or talk about your project.
For a while my job was doing SEO for an agency, so I built a brand around myself by producing content and writing articles around SEO and copywriting. Worked well for me, or if you have the budget, LinkedIn Ads work very well if you have already segmented your target audience.
This seems like a tough problem, seems like you have 3 options:
Thanks pagey! I'll probably opt for option 2 and play around with Twitter and other networks as LinkedIn might be the main channel for potential confusion.
