I've been developing algochurn.com for over 2 months now and have been using Twitter to post about the things that I build and integrate on the platform.
So far, I've been just sharing what I work on and implementing new features and I feel am not properly utilizing all the features that Twitter has to offer (like threads, replies, and hashtags).
What I'm feeling lately is that I should subscribe to a service like Tweethunter to indulge more on the engagement side.
What are your suggestions on this?
There are a couple of things that you could do in order to increase your engagement on Twitter:
Use hashtags in your tweets - this will help people discover your content more easily.
Use Twitter threads - this is a great way to share longer pieces of content or to tell a story.
Reply to other tweets - this is a great way to start a conversation and to get people interested in what you have to say.
Follow other Twitter users who are in your niche - this way you can see what they're talking about and join in on the conversation.
@alex_vidon_ai 's advice is great here. Particularly number 3.
If you are under 1,000 followers you need to be replying to others for discovery.
Good luck. ⭐️
Thanks @alex_vidon_ai, Will try to implement all the points that you mentioned.
Hear me out . . . Before you place all your eggs in one basket, what makes you so sure that Twitter (or any other traction channel for that matter) is the best channel strategy for your business at your current stage of growth (activation, retention, referral, etc.)?
I feel that the target audience of my platform is quite active on Twitter. That is the only reason I feel Twitter might be my best bet.
Gotcha, that makes sense. What KPI are you trying to improve? Hopefully it's one that represents the biggest business risk your company faces right now.
Using the #buildingpublic tag and just posting updates about your product is effective
Here's a pretty good guide on how to build a Twitter following:

Hope it helps! Definitely changed the way I view social media.
Thanks Michael!
I'm super glad it helps you 😊
Thank you @Michael_O for this article! Since it changed your perspective, it might also be helpful for me. :)
Any tips for making twitter interesting to use? I find it terrible boring 😬
I believe if you engage in something that you find interesting, you'll love the space there.
Have you looked into paid ads on Twitter? We have primarily focused on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google ads over the years but have always been surprised by the presence and activity of the SaaS industry and developers on Twitter in particular.
Not yet, but I was thinking of going the ads route.
