Hi Hackers
I'm having a hard time consistently doing outreach for my B2B startup. Unlike coding, sales doesn't have the same instant feedback loop and require a lot of fragmented focus which throws me off a lot.
How have you learned to enjoy the process ?
Think of the sale process like hunting.
A lion is looking for his prey in the savanna. Much of the time nothing much happens. But the lion has the hunting instinct that keep him going.
We are hunting for business opportunities, not prey, but there are analogies between hunting and sales.
Coding is more like agricultural production, you work and if there is no incident, you get a result.
Thats actually a good analogy 😆. I'll see if having that mindset change will help.
thanks @FlyNestor
Need to know what you're up to to give more specific advice on how you can make it less of a pain. Unlike coding, in sales you can't control everything. That's why so many startups sink. DM me on Twitter with what you're up to, I'll brainstorm how you can reach out better.
Hey Denis, sounds good.
You can join any makers community, I feel like it helps. Like Indieworldwide or marketing4makers
