How to evaluate a startup

After several failed startups and investing my personal savings, one of which hit a market ceiling , I asked myself, how can I understand if a new idea is worth pursuing? Is it the right market? The team? The financial business model? What about marketing and sales? Can I create a good product? And how can I raise money?
All of these questions need to be asked before starting a project.
