Our website https://okzest.com enables people to add personalised text (using merge tags) onto images.
The text can include the recipient's details (e.g. name, location, age) or any other data (e.g. items left in shopping cart, insurance renewal date, current product price, product quantity available, weather).
The images can be used in emails, direct social media messages, chatbots, websites, etc.
We have written our home page to focus on the use case of 'email marketing', to try to get this niche ranked highly in search engines. We have landing pages for other niches.
From talking to potential customers, it's clear that many people view our site but don't understand what we are offering.
The top of our home page has:
Below this, we explain our service, its benefits and we show examples.
I am guessing that people look at the top of the home page, don't understand the concept and then don't bother reading the rest of the home page.
I think we need an image at the top of the home page to clearly explain the concept. Do you agree? If so, where can I go to get this? I'm on a tight budget, would Fiverr be okay?
We know how hard it is for companies to explain their features and benefits with just words - so we built a platform for this specific use case!
You should try using Supademo (https://supademo.com) to create and embed an interactive product demo directly on your website!
? I do not understand the real reason for your post -- as I see an image already.
The demo video quality is terrible, sorry.
Email marketing is dead fm. I delete any email from someone I do not know without reading, and then tag offending business as SPAM. SMEs set up the email filters so the business and owners can experience less noise.
If you reference a study, you need to say when it was conducted, and ref. Otherwise you break trust with citizens. Unsubstantiated claims on internet are so wild and woolly that most citizens now ignore them. Reference them as they may still work.
Fm, your post heading is not related to the post. Perhaps it is another clickbait?
After watching the demo, what I saw is out of alignment to your tagline. Your not creating images but personalizing images.
FYI: Merge functionality for outbound communications has been around for a long time. Doing this personalisation to images is, different, yes. Just cannot image using it in a SME thou. Did you validate the idea with real prospects ? People willing to pay for personalised images?
We have an image, but it isn't clear enough as people tell us that they don't understand the concept of our solution. Some people think it's only the name that can be added to images (this is all we show in the image) and other people don't get the concept at all.
I'm not a designer, so am struggling to think of a simple way to convey our concept in an image format. e.g. should we have an animated image like we do now, should we have 3 boxes, to show a multi-step process, should we show merge tags, should we show data sources, etc. Images can get overly-complicated π€
I agree the demo video isn't very good - we are on a budget π Will get it done professionally when we can.
Our product is suitable for all business to customer email (and newsletters), not just for cold email marketing.
Yes, I should include the source reference.
My question here is not intended as clickbait. I am trying to understand how I can get visitors to explain the product to visitors within a few seconds of them visiting my website, without having to read the whole home page.
Correct, we are adding personalised text to images. I will review our website to make this clearer π
Other websites offer the same functionality, but they are overly complicated. We have developed our solution to stand out with these features:
We are also in the process of developing some functionality to make us stand out from others.
