How to find beta testers and best way to distribute to them?

Hi all,

I just created an extension after having done so ages ago. V0.0.1 is now awaiting approval. :) So, how do you guys go about finding beta testers, maybe even before approval? I could distribute it directly to them (with obvious security concerns for them; don't know if anyone would do it). Also, I used plasmo for the first time and saw they had a program for distribution outside of the Chrome webstore. But it's paid. Also don't know if anyone uses/would use it. So, how do you guys go about this? :)

Cheers

I've decided to launch my Firefox extension first. Targeting a smaller audience will give me the opportunity to refine it before rolling out the Chrome version, which is already complete.

Mozilla allows for self-distribution of extensions without requiring publication in their store. They perform security checks and sign the extension, ensuring that beta users can test it without any security concerns.

To find beta users, I’m starting with my personal contacts and connections on social media.
