How to Find Creators for My App?

Since lockdown began, I’ve been working on a new app for creators. It’s basically a credit card for creators, much like The Karat Black Card, but with a higher approval rate and no interest fees.

I have finished building the app and currently, I am in the process of finding creators that want to use it. My target audience is content creators on Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, and Twitch.

I’ve spent $1500 on Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube ads but with little success. The average ad spent per user acquired was $13 dollars, while I’m aiming at cutting that price in half.

Does anyone know a faster way to reach creators other than ads?

Have you considered using influencer marketing?
You could find creators that create content for other creators. It could be someone who teaches branding or marketing or design, but mainly aimed at other creators. You can then contact them and see how much they would charge to advertise your website.

Hey Emily, try email. Most of the companies in the Creator Economy rely on email databases of actual creators for acquiring users. Also, I know that the biggest companies in the Creator Economy, such as Linktree and Memmo use a service called Influencers Club as their data provider.

This service provides them with email addresses from creators based on keywords that the creator has mentioned in their Instagram bio, for example, “content creator”, “YouTuber”, “twitch streamer”, etc.
