Hi Indie Hackers,
I worked as freelancer about 3 years and have about 120 clients now. I design\develop websites, apps and some customize system for these clients, charge some service fee and hosting fee etc.
I found these clients from google ads, friends referral. But these clients can't give us stable income (Min over 300 clients). May i know other indie hackers how to find more new clients?
Thanks a lot,
Hey Henry. If you have 120 clients and that doesn't give you a stable income – then your pricing is way way way too low. Buy this first: Double Your Freelancing Rate. Because no matter what, if you're undercharging then the problem isn't having enough clients, it's profiting from the work you do have.
Then (and only then) I'd think about finding more clients. The absolute best places to find clients in recent years, I've found, is:
That's enough work to build a really solid agency. But again, if you're under-pricing there's no point in adding clients because you'll be losing money anyway.
Hi Robert, Thanks your reply. My rate is medium level in the market, i think. But clients want to find more cheaper services. I will try your suggestions.
Thanks again,
