How to find out whether people will use your product - before starting to build

Hi fellow indiehacker,

So you want to learn how to validate your idea?

Imagine what it would be like to build something that people actually sign up and pay money for. Maybe you've done it already, maybe not, but choosing the right product to build is not easy.

You've heard the advice a million times already, "validate your idea", "talk to customers", "start marketing immediately".

I've had my fair share of failed / abandoned projects caused by missing market fit. It's devastatingly frustrating to have sweated blood into a project for months only to see that nobody is even interested in trying out for free, especially not paying for it.

Does this sound familiar?

Good news:
With the right tools and a plan, you should be able to validate an idea without writing a single line of code. No, not with 100% accuracy, but weeding out 90% of the loosing ideas will save so you soo much time already.

I know what you are thinking, "I love writing code and building stuff", but building a business and a side-project are different pairs of shoes.

While I can't guarantee any success with ideas, I can guarantee you more information on if your idea is going to work or not (or how you can pivot to make it work).

So, here we go, this is Validate. You can spin up a professional looking landing page with effective copy (even if you think you can't write) in less than an hour.

It definitely doesn't work in 5 minutes, similar to how there is no "get rich quick", but Validate will take care of hosting, SSL, email signups (double opt-in) and you can even write a welcome email that's sent to each signup. I mainly used it for asking people on how they currently solve the problem etc. but you can use it for giving out coupons or asking other questions as well.

As teasered already, it included a mini copywriting guide (in-app, different for each step) that will help you articulate your idea in a way that's easy to understand and value-focused:

The only thing left to you is how to drive traffic to your shareable link, no domain purchase or anything needed. I've used google ads as well as indiehackers and gathered signups for validating this project itself (lol recursion).

I've seen a few different digital products validated with Validate already, but I'm very curious to see what you'll create with Validate!

PS: Still very early stage, if there is something that blocked you from continuing, simply use the live chat and I'll try my best to help you quickly

    Hey,
This is cool. I've been using another landing page builder for a few years and i find the copy assist and all the other validation features to be just what one needs :)
    Cheers,
    Prakash
