How to find the Avatar for validation

Hi,

I currently have a startup idea, but I need to verify it and learn more about the wants and goals of my avatars.

Here's the concept: A tool that makes it simple and secure for you to create sign-up form for your website. I haven't yet determined whether to use an API-based platform or a plugin.

I send out cold emails and use Slack to contact individuals, but it doesn't seem like my customer's objective was reached. Rare are the individuals that respond to me.

What words of wisdom do you have?
What do you think of my business idea?

I don't even understand what your value proposition is. Is it a form? Is it an authentication provider? What does it do, exactly?

By “avatar”, I assume you are referring to the ideal customer profile or persona, right? So, you are trying to understand your customers?

Did you try to search with problem-related keywords on Twitter or Reddit to see if people are actually having an issue or aware of their problem? That might be a good start. If you have any paying customers, you can attempt to reach out to them to see if they can spare an hour to answer some questions.

Maybe you can cold outreach to SaaS CTOs or technical founders who might spare a moment to speak with you.
