How to get backlinks and SEO question

Here is a quick (albeit little costly) little growth hack:

1. Get an ahrefs.com account
2. Get a list of top news website domains in you niche
3. Look for broken outbound links for these domains in ahrefs
4. Scrape found domains for registerable domains
5. Register domains and redirect traffic (301) to custom landingpages (or if you are lazy to your main domain)
6. Extra growth tip: Check inbound backlinks on ahrefs.com for your new-to-be-registered domains
7. Super extra growth tip: Having .edu or .gov domains pointing to your new-to-be-registered-and-soon-to-be-redirected domains

IMHO the best way is not to think about is as SEO links..
Think about where to get traffic from.
Find places that people ask about something like this or have a problem this solves and go spend time or money there..

Specifically for this maybe ubot studio network/people would find interest in this, they do bulk automation.. might integrate..

hey man, getting seo right in 2019 is extremely hard. reason is you compete against players who do SEO for decades (!) and there are so many tricks which are not public. If I told you how we did SEO what system with dozens of devs we build you wouldn't believe. and 100x more work than your actual product.

Then, Google got so much smarter that it got harder for all of us to do SEO at all.

So, I'd try get fully independent of SEO in the first place but creating a model where you can buy users. if then somehow seo works great if not you still make money.

at the moment your product is too cheap to acquire users, so you must do something to increase the price and offer value, eg a subscription (but who would do this?) and so on

if i may ask, what's you tech stack and how does the solution work? are you just a thin wrapper around twilio or nexmo?
