How to get Clubhouse App Invite (Don't Buy Clubhouse Invite, Join Pay-It forward community instead)

👋Clubhouse App Invites was selling like hot cakes. They were sold for over $1000+ on Ebay when Elon Musk joined Clubhouse. Since Kanye West and Vladimir Putin also join in next few days, It would be sold for even more! (and unfortunately more Clubhouse Invite scams too)

A lot of people opted to Buy Clubhouse App Invites from someone who's already on Clubhouse.

There's even a reddit group that's just for Clubhouse App Invites!

It's sole purpose is selling, buying, and exchanging The popular Clubhouse invites 🏡

Problem

A lot of innocent folks were literally getting scammed. Sometime it was this malware sites AKA Invite code generators or shady sites that promise INSTANT invites or just random internet stranger who ghosts you once you made the payment (be it $5-$25)! Building a trusted community is a must and forums are not the place for it.

Solution

I knew I had to do something, no one was doing anything to address it. Thus I decided to build a pay it forward community for Clubhouse App Invites.

How does Clubhouse App Invite train work?

As we get invites, we pass it on to next person. We build the community in such a way that each ensures they have invited the next person in line. It works like a train🚂 & it's fun too:) Everyone gets in this way.

How did we make it work?

Like train ticket, we ensured the ones we are onboarding aren't bad players. Inorder to join this each have to buy me a few cups of coffee here - https://www.buymeacoffee.com/felixbmc

How did this grow viral

I wrote about what I was planning to do on my twitter (felix_josemon), wrote a medium post: https://medium.com/@felixjosemon/looking-for-clubhouse-invite-codes-pay-it-forward-clubhouse-community-could-help-you-6ee8036babbf and there it started.

Challenges we face

  1. Google/Youtube is ranking & promoting some of these scam sites on their search results (first page!). I have reported them but no actions are taken so far!

  2. It's tough to be in the signal to noise crowd. (If you have a blog/site/news, feel free to write about this initiative . Happy to send some ☕️coffees your way:)

Best part of running this

Other than getting highly caffeine addicted, the best part of building this Clubhouse App Invite community is people we networked with.

We have interacted with 800+ great folks from 50+ countries. People from different walks of life, different background, different culture. Everyone is super kind to one another and had the heart to pay it forward. Some have even invited me to their homes & countries to drink coffee together!

Kudos to Clubhouse team on making this platform. As long as we are connected by Audio, and be authentic to ourself it's a no brainer to make the best out of the Clubhouse App. Once It's launched on Android too (Currently Clubhouse is only availed on iOS, iPad and iPhone), it's going to skyrocket.

Our supporters meet together every day on Clubhouse and have drink (coffee/tea/yourchoice) together. We also plan to meet IRL once this pandemic is over. I really look forward to it:)

:)
