How to get customer testimonials for your SaaS startup
How I was able to get my first customer testimonials for Wobaka and how you can get testimonials for your startup too.

Curious about how to ask customers for testimonials? I just wrote a blogpost about my experience.
I've included things like where to look for testimonials, how to email customers, questions to ask, timing etc.
Hope you'll enjoy it!
Ask your clients for a testimonial that is no more than 3 - 4 sentences in length. Showing clients you only need a few words vs. long drawn out paragraphs will increase conversion and get them to say yes.
Nice short post.
At https://ligalio.com we made sure that our first customers were happy and gave our product away for free in return for a great testimonial. It worked. We even had cases where the client still paid even though we offered our services for free.
Btw, love what you are building at Wobaka, keep it up!
Thanks! That's a clever tactic for getting testimonials early. Also great validation that they still decided to pay. Congrats!
Hey Fredrik, Thanks for Sharing :)
Customer testimonials help to foster a sense of community and show that a business is committed to providing quality services and products.
Indeed :)!
Thanks for sharing your story!
At Unrubble.com, we have two ways of gathering testimonials. One is a quick and easy survey that customers can fill out. Our in-house copywriter then takes the information and turns it into a text, which the client proofreads before it gets added to the site.
For bigger projects, we like to use video-calls as much as possible. We'll transcribe the video into an interview, cut the video into smaller clips, and there are even more ideas for how to use the content - I might write a separate post about it in the future! 💪
After they've already said nice things, I've asked if I can put it on the homepage. So far they were all so kind to agree.
