How to get new clients? This is what I’ve learnt in my first 12 months of running a business.

I started with 0 clients at the beginning of 2017.

I just quit my job. I had a baby on the way. To say things were a little stressful, would be an understatement.

I literally tried everything to get clients and 80% of the time, I wasted a lot of time and money.

There’s really no shortage of advice around this topic. You can read all you want, but I've never really learnt until I put my hands to it and that's when you really begin to develop an intuition around the things that work best for you.

So, with the idea of trying to help you folks reduce that learning curve, I put together a quick 3-minute video sharing what I learnt about getting clients.

Here's the video: https://youtu.be/yWM_nHzqECA

Any other topics or questions you need my view on feel free to add in the comments. I'd be happy to put together with other quick videos.

Nicely done, Neil. You touched on the specifics instead of going generic as many others do.

I was talking to an IP firm who wanted to generate leads and partnering with an Incorporation service provider is something I suggested too! would be interesting to see you digging into this topic.
