How to get nice graphics for your landing page?

Hello!
I've gotten very envious of everyone's nice illustrations on their landing pages and want some for myself. Since my business doesn't exactly fit the typical b2b saas mold I've struggled to find pictures on places such as https://undraw.co/. Is there a place to get/buy slightly more niche illustrations? Or, is the strategy here to hire a graphic designer to make bespoke illustrations? If so, how do you go about finding and hiring someone? What should my process look like?

Many thanks!

Aaand I think manypixels gallery is totally a winner here, it was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again!

Thank you! Really made my day to see this.

We're adding new illustrations each week!

No, thank you! Y'all really made my landing page. :D

What a great list, I'll have to keep this filed away myself! Thanks, Rosie! It makes me wonder if we should have an indiehackers FAQ with links to all these resources :)

I'm actually working on something like that. At least picking out repeat topics and creating posts that we can refer people to when they are asked.

Great to hear! As a newbie, I'm looking forward to reading it.

That's exactly what we do at Draftss.com - designing customized illustrations on subscription.

Throwing one more option out there:
    https://gallery.manypixels.co

it's like unsplash but for illustrations. You can change the colors to match your brand too. And free.

So this is one thing I think is distracting - unless it's a core feature of your biz that you need nice illustrations or what can just get the job done? I personally feel going with good enough and moving forward as fast as possible on validation is more important but that's my opinion :)

I think you're right. I'm just picking out some free ones from here even if the connection to my product is.... tenuous at best. Back to iterating on the actual product!

I run a site with free illustrations of the not-so-corporate variety: https://comicsforblogs.com/

man, there are so many free resources out there that you don't need custom graphics. freepik is my favorite, you will need to do some basic editing and credit the source but there is basically anything you can't find there.

    Hey Wesley,

I use Icons8.com/ouch - I find that their stuff is rather AWESOME. I pay 20/mo for it.

Here is what I am working on with it. Mind you, I have only really been building this for a couple of days after work.

This one is nice, really like the ability to edit the images. 👏👏

However @nikkwong, it's probably designed for mac because I couldn't scroll on the page (had to page down to get it to work), please please make it scrollable for non-mac users.

Goodness! I didn't know that. I'm working on a huge overhaul and adding a bunch of stuff, I will make sure to include that, thanks so much for bringing it to my attention. & @DharmaBum thanks so much for the mention :)
