what do you think of trends.co ($200/year) and explodingideas.co (free), are either of these worth it you think?

Trends is pretty good. I signed up this year. Kind of expensive though.

    2. 2

I think so. market research is key. so if you can outsource it that can be powerful.

I appreciate your diligence in this task.

Nice read. But I think of it as Startup problems. Instead of thinking about ideas one must think about the problems they are trying to solve.

Or simply signup to Micro SaaS Ideas 😉😉

Both trends.co ($200/year, was Sam Parr's co) and trends.vs (free, deep market insights) are good. Is $200 a year expensive? Depends on what you learn, who you meet & what you do with what you learn and who you meet.

Having started a few companies over the years

    1. start the thing before it's ready
    2. keep expenses low
    3. spend 75-95% of your time each week marketing and selling
    4. it it's not cashflow positive in 90 days or less, move to the next idea
