How to get your first customer interviews.

Hey Indiehackers! Wanted to start a post to see how you all try to do customer interviews with people. What strategies or messages have you used in the past?

I'll start with one that I use:

Hey <x>! I recently been building <my-product> which does <what-it-does>, i saw you <what-they-do>, i've been trying to <what-you-want-to-learn>, was wondering if you'd be open to me asking you on some feedback/advise?

I tend to send this to people via a list I compile on various channels, relevant forums, email finder tools, linkedin.
