Trying to figure out ways to scale up revenue for my product GPT Hotline?
It's essentially ChatGPT on WhatsApp. I've tried adding other features to make it more enticing though...you can create images, edit images, get news and even setup reminders.
I've tried some ads but didn't really have success. Marketing is painful for me so not sure what to do but I know that I need to pay attention to it. Appreciate any advice!
By being on people's phones you're adjacent to their contact lists and huge network effects you could leverage. Try adding a free plan that lets them have 25 messages and after that, they have to send a share link to your tool to a friend to unlock 25 more messages or else upgrade :) That could get it spreading like wildfire and a decent chunk of those would upgrade rather than having to spam their contacts all the time.
I agree with the network effects and have been trying to think of ways to gamify this. Good idea!

Have you talked to your users and asked them what they would pay more for?
Also have you asked them what problem they're solving using your product?
When I read your website I think that the product is explained and the features are really cool, but I don't understand a use case? Is it that I can walk around with access to Chat GPT? If so how does that help me vs my habit of googling answers? (What's triggering me to form a new habit of using ChatGPT in WhatsApp?)

My thesis has been that it is a more frictionless way of interacting with ChatGPT on a platform that a lot of people (19 billion) know well. Particularly more older non technical people for whom even installing downloading a new app is troublesome but who are very comfortable with WhastApp.
I think the a good question is: What problems would people solve by using ChatGPT on WhatsApp?
One way to do good research would be to find whatsapp groups and share the idea with them (there should be whatsapp user groups on each social platform). Maybe try to find 1-2 channels to pull people into problem interviews?
A survey or poll could also work as a starting method for research.
Since you have paid users I highly recommend talking to them to understand why they decided to pay. (I did this for my startup recently and it led to us refining our pricing model which led to quicker yes's from customers)
