Any tips?

If it’s only Twitter you’re interested in then I would go with searching for relavant hashtags and engaging without promoting. Genuine discussion can go a long way.
Agree!
I’m just starting in this journey and I’ve managed to triple my followers in just a few days by:
Thanks, I will also try it.
The best way to grow on Twitter is to use the reply button.
Make sure to use the 80/20 rule of organic content for your niche & advertising your product.
Got it!
I think instead of trying to create viral tweets and spending a lot of time "generating content" you should reach out directly to accounts that already have large amounts of followers that could benefit from using your product. Give the large account your product for free and offer lifetime affiliate deals for customers they bring to your website.
Agree!
Did you consider other platforms? May be your target audience are hanging out elsewhere. All it might take is just repurpose your awesome content onto LinkedIn, FB groups, etc.
Thoughts?
I have also considered platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Reddit. But I don't know which platforms have the best results, so I keep trying.
What is your current strategy?
I'm going to find some influencers to work with first!
Hi Shirley! I'm not Twitter expert but what's working for me is to engage. Consistently engage with your target audience. Comment, like, retweet!
Thanks for your advice!
Finally, get a kick a$$ landing page designed to attract more users.
Thanks!
General path to a lot of signups is a viral tweet, and to increase the chances of getting a viral tweet is with an account that has a large following.
What I'd recommend is, reply to large accounts with something insightful + related and quote tweet a tweet of yours that talks about the app.
While I don't remember exact examples, I do remember a few people talking highly about this.
Besides, this increases your chance of getting large accounts to tweet about your app organically.
Thanks, got it!
Do you mean quote tweeting in the reply? Can you do that?
Yes! When you add a link to a tweet in your reply, it becomes a quote tweet. You should have a nice little tweet or even a thread that talks about problems your tool is solving and then quote that in as many replies as possible
Although Twitter (X) has never been my primary acquisition channel for the companies I work for, I have some tactics that have helped me. You can check them out as well:
Thanks, I will try it.
That whisper wind tool sounds fascinating. I looked it up but all I got was a horror anime character.
yeah, if they didn't find me, I would have never found their website. to be honest, I'm not even sure if they accept new users or if they're out of beta - whisperwind(dot)co
Instead of selling something, try a funnel approach and start by engaging with other creators and then proffer value to your small audience. That never fails.
Thanks!
Its quite difficult for new or small accounts to promote a project on Twitter
Indeed
I'm in the same boat, having very recently created the X account for my UI/UX design subscription service. However, based on some reverse engineering of other successful content creators on X, it's clear that it's about engaging others and trying to provide value wherever you can. Post quality tweets and engage top accounts in your niche. That seems to do the trick.
Thanks for your advice!
Engaging is the key. Sometimes the best marketing involves selling the problem instead of the solution
I love that idea “sell the problem”
Thanks! But I didn't quite understand what the selling the problem meant?
Well, you need to communicate the pain points of the users in order to sell a solution.
For example, check out my product https://uibun.dev - it is a "visual tailwindcss builder" - but I don't say it directly. I sell the problem of launching products quickly instead.
Thanks, I got it!
Growing a presence on Twitter can take time, but there are strategies to attract more users:
Interact with your audience regularly by responding to comments, retweeting relevant content, and engaging in conversations. Being active helps attract attention.
Share valuable, unique, and engaging content that resonates with your target audience. Use visuals, videos, polls, and hashtags to make your tweets stand out.
Use trending hashtags and participate in relevant conversations to increase your visibility. But ensure they're relevant to your brand and message.
Connect with influencers or users in your niche. Collaborate on content or engage with their audience to expand your reach.
Consider using Twitter Ads to promote your tweets or account to a targeted audience. It can help increase visibility and attract users interested in your content.
Maintain a consistent brand voice, profile aesthetic, and messaging. This helps users recognize and remember your account.
Encourage engagement with clear CTAs. Ask questions, run polls, or prompt users to retweet or share your content.
Monitor your Twitter analytics to understand what content works best. Optimize your strategy based on what resonates with your audience.
Remember, building a strong Twitter presence takes time and effort. Stay patient and consistent in your efforts to grow your user base.
And what does CTA mean?
Call to action. It is your final instruction to encourage people to take action on your offer
Thanks!
Thanks! It is useful!
