How To Grow Your SaaS Business From $0 to $10M in ARR in 3 Years or Less BOOTSTRAPPED

Growing from $0 to $10M in ARR in 3 years, BOOTSTRAPPED is totally possible. Here’s how:

To get to $10M ARR in 3 years there’s only ONE thing you need to do:
That is to,
DEFINE
YOUR
FUNNEL
.

If you don’t know what a funnel is, it’s is basically a way to turn a cold person into a paying customer.
So how do they go from ‘hearing about you somewhere’ to ‘paying for your service/product’

Example of a traditional marketing funnel:

The 4 Part Funnel to Get to $10M

  1. Inspiring
So instead of driving awareness (like in the traditional funnel) we want to inspire people.
    Why inspire people?
With inspiration people are much more likely to actually take action.
In order to inspire people, you can create a lot of different types of content:
    Video series
    Vlogs
    Articles
    Podcast
    Etc
When you are creating inspiring content, you want to think about ‘how can I produce this piece of content such that by doing so the prospect will think about how their lives will change and how implementing these “simple” things so that they can grow their business, be profitable and build a successful company with grind, passion, and dedication’.

  2. Education
When you get the inspiration, you know that you need to take action. But the truth is, if you don’t know how to do these “simple” things or simple steps to start building or growing your business in a successful and profitable way then you’re going to be stuck.
The idea for your content is for people to be ‘unstuck’.
So you can produce the following content:
    Actionable content
    Tips
Create a FB group in which you help people for free
    Publish a paid masterclass
The more value you bring to people and the more you help them, the more they’re going to be grateful and happy 😁 to pay for your product/service.
Which brings us to the next part:

  3. Converting
How exactly do people purchase something from you?
We talk abour ARR since a lot of SaaS businesses have a ‘subscription based model’ meaning people buy a service and pay monthly or yearly for it. It renews automatically every single month. So it is ‘recurring’.
The thing with subscription is, as I said, people will renew them. Or, sometimes, cancel.
When people cancel, we call it “Churn”.
And that’s why the last part of this funnel is,

  4. Retaining
This part is the most important part for a SaaS business.
So how do you make sure you retain people using your software?
If you’re focusing on helping people be more successful, then they will stay and keep purchasing your service/product.
What do we define as success? It can be two things: Either 1. you help people save time. Meaning they have more time to do other things. Or 2. you help them make more money.

So,
If you inspire people to take action,
Then you educate them into knowing how exactly to do ‘the thing’
Eventually they will start using your product/service because you trained them to be good at it
They will get amazing result, love you and keep purchasing your products/services.

If you can master this funnel and really be focusing on all the things mentioned above, I can assure you your business will be successful.

The key to success lies in the small things. In the digital era, people want to automate everything, take shortcuts, take the easy path, etc.
FOCUS ON THE SIMPLE THINGS

Focus on helping 1 person. Then help another person. Then another, and then another. If you help 1 person each day, you will be able to help 365 people each year and after 3 years you helped more than a thousand people.

Then you’ll have a massive network that you’ve built and helped.
From that network (audience) you can build any business you want, grow anything you want.

But people want to take shortcuts in life. But in business there are no shortcuts. Things take time and if you do all the little things that no one else is doing, then you will SUCCEED and there is no DOUBT about that.
