Hi, I am starting a new business and would like to create a team of professionals I have tried toptal and guru and I am not satisfied. Does anyone know some better alternatives?
What kind of developers are you looking for?
I am open to some opportunities
your look at it. Hire someone off indie hackers. some indie hackers have spare time and are available for hire
Greeting mate don't know why you are unsatisfied with their service but since you asked i can suggest you this webiste :- https://codersera.com i have personally hired developers from this site and the developers i hired were just amazing.
What was the pricing like? What did you have built?
The site itself doesn't provide much info or inspire confidence.
(edit: would also say it's weird that both accounts (OP and this one) were created 6 hours ago)
If you are wondering i have nothing to do with lolmole.
It was a React Application sobbuh.
Thanks, I will give it a try.
What skills are you looking for?
React + nodejs developers.
What's your budget and the scope of work you're looking to get done?
How about your social media?
Here are others platforms you can try:
You never know where you'll find someone, you just have to spread the word.
Also, you could go to specific job for technology: codeable.io
And I’m pretty sure there are similar projects with focus on different technologies or niches. So go to Google and look around.
Or you could go to Toptal.com — they say that only 3% of candidates pass their job interview, which means that they take only the best of the best.
That is all that came up in my mind.
Good luck!
@cameolame Are you still looking for a remote dev?
You can use my site for $75 for 30 days - https://nocsok.com
What is your hiring process petecodes?
I usually meet talented open source devs via gitcoin.co
What did you find unsatisfactory about toptal and guru?
What is your budget?
What are you looking to build and where are you in the process (do you have specs, wireframes, user stories, etc?)
What problems did you encounter?
They were charging me more then the developers should get.
tried this: https://6nomads.com/
i think sometimes it really comes down to specific humans. The source of the people is one but the kind of person joining you is the other part.
True that cmer4
I'm a developer who's been doing a decent amount of work through Upwork recently - So definitely check it out. Guru definitely seems to have quality control issues.
Guru has some serious issues.
Upwork is an option.
