How to improve my site?

I'm looking for some feedback on how I can improve my site. Specifically, can you tell right away what the site does? Does the site navigation make sense? Does the site look okay?

I am also open to criticism of the idea behind it - if the site seems like it isn't useful, I'd like to hear that as well.

I will note that because it is map based, there is a request for location when you first go there - you can decline this and still get a full sense of the site.

I think I know (because I'm doing something similar, let's say), but I'm not sure -- it's the place which maps the categorised spots in town?

I feel like Google Maps already does that and at first I don't see obvious benefit of using PlanMigo. Feels like you have a lot of features to use with that but I'm not sure how to combine them.

The button and side menu lacks final touches. Many widgets doesn't have paddings and it kinda looks like it's still in progress.

I would assume that when I select new category, previous pins are disappearing. Instead there is "erase markers" button.

Your feedback is very helpful- PlanMigo is specifically for things to do, not general places. It also includes events, not just places. I need to find a way to better convey that.

I’ll look for a way to give it more of a finished look.

The erase button is there because the markers don’t automatically erase when new ones go on so that you have a sense of where all the things going on are.

I appreciate the feedback- I was worried about the very things you brought up.

I recently asked the same question because I had the same worries and they were true 😅

The design seems to be a bit crude, could probably use https://getbootstrap.com to refine the look of it.
I've a customer who is also running a SaaS which is map based, I would highly recommend you to include feedback and polling widget into your product to easily collect direct feedback from your users.
At https://howuku.com we have free feedback widgets you should definitely give it a try. :)

It's maybe understandable, but it needs a lot of UX work and design after.
