Hi all,
We're building software that helps e-commerce sellers generate silo and editorial photography using a virtual lightbox. It works pretty well and our sweet spot is sellers who need to change backgrounds on their photos in a controllable and consistent way.
The problem is that these photos aren't necessary on a daily basis. Once you have a photo for your catalog, generally you won't change it until you need a rebrand or you need to promote that product on social media. So while we do have sellers coming in exporting hundreds of images, it's very hard to tell whether they'll retain, since there's no incentive for them to come back.
How should we tackle this? The problem is big enough for people to find us valuable, so should we keep improving the initial value prop and hope that people remember us whenever they need it? Or do we try to add features and move to adjacent use cases that are more daily/weekly?

Oh I love this! I was just thinking about an idea that I thought would be useful but is something that you would likely use only every now and then. (A type of website auditing tool.) Focusing more on the folks who do work for others is a great way to find a recurring audience. Adding this to my notes. 🙌🏾
