How to integrate Outseta with a Xano database

Even if you're building no-code projects, sometimes you need a more powerful and scaleable backend than a spreadsheet can provide.

That's why we teamed up with our friends at Xano to build a native integration between Outseta and a Xano database. Users can now authenticate with Outseta, and user data will be automatically synced with your Xano database.

Outseta—Handles authentication and gives you the tools to manage your business (payments, CRM, email, help desk, content protection).

Xano—Provides the business logic and database that powers your product.

The basic steps to get started are:

1. Sign up for a free account of Xano: https://app.xano.com/admin/signup

2. Start a "workspace" in Xano and create a user table. When a user authenticates with Outseta, their information will be automatically synced with the Xano user table.

3. Within Xano go to Marketplace > User Authentication > Outseta and install the Outseta Marketplace Extension.

4. Input your Outseta URL (in the format of https://yourdomain.outseta.com) and JWT token into Xano (you can retrieve this within Outseta by going to AUTH > SIGN UP AND LOGIN and clicking "Show Advanced Options" under the sign up settings.)

That's it! When a user logs in with Outseta, all of their will get pulled into the user table in Xano. You can also explore the demo application—a to-do list app—to see how a user's interactions with your product update Xano's database.
