How to launch MVP in a store with ratings?

I am getting close to having my MVP ready. It is a Chrome extension. Because there are ratings in the Chrome extension store I'm a little worried about not making my MVP more polished. I really want to get it out there for people to use but I don't know how potential bad ratings due to lack of features, possible bugs, etc. could affect the future of my product. Does anyone have experience in launching an MVP in a store (Chrome extension store, Google Play Store, Apple App Store, etc.) with ratings? Am I being too worried? What pitfalls should I watch out for? Any other tips?

Thanks

I'd say to directly contact some people that might enjoy it to give it a go first, until you polish it up for mainstream use and just get users to use it and improve as the time goes. There is no "finished" state to a product, just continuous iteration and improvement, and if you put in the work, long term the extension will grow and get more reviews. But you have to start somewhere, and directly contacting some people to give it a try might be a good enough start to get the ball rolling.
