I launched madepublic.io two days ago and I've got 50 beta users which is awesome - I'm just not sure how to ensure users keep coming back to the platform.
I've got a feed, insights and stats, and I'm about to launch a public to-do list.
I was thinking about a comment system and the ability to follow projects and receive notifications when changes happen?
I also want users to want to share their project page on their projects as a way to get users to see what's changing - should I create an embeddable widget?
Make it fun!
It feels kinda empty when I tried opening various products and the landing page uses the tired-and-old illustrations that I hate by now :D.
It doesn't have that polished feeling you know.
Hmmm yeah I get you. A big one on my list before leaving beta is changing the landing page to be more of a dynamic dashboard with updating data - I'll work on the illustrations too haha I've had that from a few people.
I think I'm gonna start ranking the products by how "complete" they are too - thanks for the feedback!
I just registered this morning. It's slow. It's laggy. I won't be back until you fix that
That was due to a concurrent connection limit being set too low, it's been fixed now
You should create a share button with some nice graphics that allow the user to post it on social media. This way it's done.
Like how when you share songs on Spotify, thee post already looks good. I don't have to change anything.
Great idea! I'll put this on my list for tonight!
Hey,
It looks like an awesome project. I'm thinking about signing up.
My first thought was "would I have enough time to really do it?".
It would be cool if you show some examples on the landing page.
Thank you!
I'm fine tuning some of the core features for now then I'll be re-making the homepage to make it more of a dashboard instead of a landing page!
There's a link to follow the development which takes you to a demo where I'm dogfooding it with the app itself!
I was just thinking.
Maybe I would like to embed my Journey update or Development update in my About Us page 🤔
So an embeddable link is a good idea then right..
I think so
