🏥 How to make doctors want to reduce costs?

I am helping some friends with an invention they want to bring to market: a camera based app that helps with diagnosing specific ligament injuries. Right now you would need to do an MRI to know for sure, and this invention helps prevent that. Why would you want that? Because MRIs are expensive and have long waiting queues.

There is only one problem: hospitals and doctors earn money from doing MRIs, and insurances pay for it. They are not really interested in reducing costs.

How would you approach this problem?
Any thoughts?

It's not gonna make you a lot of money but how about marketing to doctors in developing countries, particularly in rural areas who don't have access to expensive MRI machines. You might be able to get a foundation to buy a bunch of licenses at fair market value so they could distribute it to the areas they serve.
You could even market to small town/rural family practitioners that don't have easy access to MRI machines. ALl the best.

I like the idea! We'll explore that further, thank you!!
