How to make outbound sales work for SaaS?

What are your biggest struggles regarding outbound sales/outreach to validate the idea?
I feel like a lot of people are so focused on automation everything that they don't give enough attention to personally acquiring customers in the early stages. If done right it might be the best way to get to high revenue number very fast If you have any questions about how to make outbound work, post them below.
I will try to answer them, as we successfully run many outbound sales campaigns for agencies, software houses and b2b saas.

It's surprising how many obstacles can be overcome with some truly venture (i.e low-liability or non-liability) funding.
Personally, I find it way easier to find information on how to automate everything by using different services so naturally I try it first. I am total beginner when it comes to outbound sales so my question would be just where and how to start. Maybe a stupid question, but if so I am sorry.
