How to manage chrome extension store dev account?

I am working on a chrome extension right now and it's my first time trying to publish one.

Quick question: should I use the project-based google account for the dev account? e.g. project-name@gmail.com

Or should I use a more generic google account and register as a dev account so in future I can potentially publish extensions for other projects with this account too? e.g. my-dev@gmail.com
