The thing that burns me out is email and chat apps. Constant distractions that make me unfocused and stressed. I try to switch them all off for large chunks of the day, and when I do open them up, I convert the tasks created from chats into my to-do list so that I'm not trying to track tasks across multiple places.

Force yourself to take breaks. Sure, you’re making something cool. Sure, it’s also fun and rewarding. Or maybe it’s none of those things. Either way, take time for yourself—maybe every Friday evening. No notifications. No what about x, y, or z. No just a hotfix.

Try separating work and life more. Sometimes that’s a time separation. Sometimes that’s a physical or space separation. Sometimes that means disabling all notifications after 6pm.

Also, a ten minute walk a day is great too. Remember to give yourself time to take a break and think.

Finally, sometimes jobs are very stressful or demanding and it can just be hard or impossible to switch off work, even after trying some different solutions. That may be indicative of larger changes that need to be made.

For me I've tried to focus on my Slack usage. Slack can feel like an all-day meeting with no agenda. I don't add clients to Slack anymore, I'll join a client's personal workspace if they have one only for the duration of a project then leave.
