How to market a Shopify app?
Hi everyone!
I recently launched my first Shopify app called Uply, a simple way of selling digital products through Shopify.
The catch is... I have no idea how to market my app. It's been a month and it has been installed by a few stores (I guess they found it through some extensive search), but the only paying customer is my wife's store hahaha
I'm currently running some ads on Shopify and Google Ads to test if it's worth it, but I do not have much experience with it either.
How do you market your Shopify app? Just publish it on the marketplace and forgets about it?

Shopify is a bit of a hard one. I've found that SEO optimization of the listing can help quite a bit. Also, I believe they have some boards you can join for shop owners. If you become active on those, you'll get some traction. Also, make sure to set up SEO landing page on your own website with Shopify in the key word. It's all about breaking through the noise as there are a bunch of apps out there.
Have you looked at other platforms as well or just Shopify?
What other platforms would you suggest? I'm a new Shopify app developer, but I realise the market is getting quite saturated. Perhaps its worth trying new fronts?
I’ve been focusing on Shopify only.
I avoided have to build a external landing page of my own, but I think is one more channel 🤷🏻♀️
