How to market an online programming course?

Hello Hackers,

I am creating an online programming course to sell on Udemy and want to launch it in a couple of weeks.

About the course:

My course is targeting people who want to make a career shift into tech and in the course I make a very smooth introduction into Android application development.

In the course I start from the fundamentals of what is XML, what is a variable, etc. and build my way to building very simple applications.

The main goal of the course is to see if somebody wants to start a career in tech and have an idea of what does it mean and how does it feel to be a software developer.

My question:

Now I am a bit nervous on how to market this and how to reach out to potential students.

How can I use Twitter, Quora, Medium or Youtube to market this course?

Does it make sense if I post to producthunt as well?

Can you give me any advice on how to market a video course and how to figure out communities my potential customers / students hanging over?
