How to Monetize My Bot
Here are some ideas for writing a post seeking business model advice:
I built a telegram bot https://t.me/TajiriBot, that uses openAI API, I built it to ease the pain of visiting the openAI website every time. Since I've been using it, I've loved it.
Four days ago, I decided to release it to the public, I initially sent it to a few friends, and since then, I've been seeing decent growth in the user base. I'm now close to having over 1k users.
At the moment, I only have the telegram_id of the users, I'm not collecting any personal information at the moment.
Presently, I'm not paying for anything yet to maintain the bot, I use free openAI credit, hosted the script on heroku, and use MongoDB to save the telegram_id. I know once I exhausted my heroku and openAI credit, I will start maintaining the bot.
I would like to ask, are there ways I can monetize this apart from making people subscribe? I've thought of affiliate marketing by displaying affiliate links in response to the prompt from the users.
Are there other methods I could use?
