How to monetize our OpenSource Tool?

Hi to all,

we developed within two days an easy covid19 tool by order of a tourist agency in germany. It is also open source.

You enter a postal code and than you see the number of infected people with covid19 within the last 7 days. This information is interesting for hoteliers and caterers to decide if they are allowed to accept guests.

However, this tool got kind of popular and many different people seem to use it. We have constantly about 6.000-4.000 users per hour.

We want to monetize this website and our first implemented idea was an amazon affiliate shop two days ago. For me it is important not to use any advertising or distracting banners obviously. The tool should also stay open source and be freely accessible for all users.

We also have two other ways for monetizing: using services such as buymeacoffe, patreon etc. but I think this will not generate noticeable income. The other idea is b2b. We could offer a service to embed the tool on other websides.

Do you have other ideas or wich kind of my ideas would fit the most?
