Hello!
I have an in-house product that I have been using myself for a few years to generate leads for my business.
Essentially the product monitors direct job listings on company websites and lets me search them. I can search for specific keywords and filter based on company location, company size etc.
I recently discussed this with someone from IH who had been manually searching job postings as a way to generate leads. I can run a huge search and generate lots of leads for anyone selling a product / service to a niche.
My question - how on earth would i package that? Until I run your search I have no idea how many results there will be so a subscription service doesn't feel very fair. Also I dont have a good way to "grade" the leads. A company local to you that work in an industry your product serves is a very good lead but a 10000+ person company is less actionable.
I would be interested in any ideas - thanks!
Have you had any luck following up/through on those job postings? That's one of the techniques I've been using with no luck yet.
As for packaging, it probably works best with multiple search phrases because the person would get less results but higher quality results. What about:
User sets up the search
User recieves sample result of ~10 in an email and including the total number of results found.
User can then buy 100, 200, 300, or all of the results for various price tiers.
You could setup saved billing or use PayPal to make the purchase and checkout process just 1 or 2 clicks. That way users have a good idea of what they're getting and there's a low barrier to entry with fair pricing.
