How to pick a really good name? Or where to find help?
I'm infamously bad at picking colors and making things. I always have to get help, usually from friends. I'm starting a new consumer project that needs a really cool name.
I found this branding agency https://www.lexiconbranding.com/ that had come up with a lot of great names, but it's $75,000 starting package for their services.
How do I find help coming up with a brand name that's not at such a steep cost?
One idea: pick a name that very simply describes what your product/service does. This helps with long-term SEO. For example, one startup I am working on right now is called VolunteerReminder. It sends automated texts to remind volunteers of their shifts. Especially in the early stages, it has been nice to be super straightforward.
