Personally, I don’t use https://fontjoy.com/ and I’m also a developer so I just peek in devtools instead of using http://chengyinliu.com/whatfont.html

https://www.fontsinthewild.com/ was a new resource, though I prefer https://fontsinuse.com/ due to the wider variety, filtering, and curation. I guess for me, I prefer more holistic approaches rather than bite-sized videos. There’s tons to cover with pairing, usage, and more that need to be considered when choosing a font. I know of another YouTuber who makes similar videos. I don’t watch them. But, I buy every single comprehensive course and book they release. Overall, you speak, present, and edit well—be sure to keep the fan noise out of the videos.

I watched a few other videos. But, I actually disagree with the presented content haha so that’s that

Anyway, keep it up! You do have a few thousand subscribers, some popular videos, and consistency—that’s impressive.

hey @fromtheexchange! Thanks for the feedback. I guess in my opinion youtube is used as a means to educate, you're right in that more holistic videos would be better for such a huge topic like fonts. In the future I'm planning on creating longer, 45-1hr videos or multiple part videos where I do more comprehensive dives into each topic, typography, color, balance, hierarchy, etc. As of now, this video was to dip my toes in the big pool of type!

I'd love to know what other youtuber you're talking about! I could probably learn a lot from them if you're buying all of their products.

I'm not sure what you mean by fan noise, it might just be my mic.

Lastly, thanks! Playing the long term game here, I'll improve with each and every output of content.
