How to promote mobile app in narrow niche?
I heart an idea that 80% of budget have to be spent on the mobile app marketing? I am spending about $200 in AppStore search ads. The same about on GoogleAds.
The app is very niche and for IT-guys, but I expected to have much more traffic.
I know that people use FB/Insta as well, which is mostly unpredictable.
May you share your experience with promoting mobile apps? Especially with small budget.
I have a pretty niche website and have several hundreds of users now, basically what I did was:
1.Create a list of potential target audiences
2. Find subreddits where you might find these people
3. Actively contribute there and leave some breadcrumbs to your app
The traffic in my case isn't fantastic (about 100+ users over about a month), but it is super targeted marketing, free and gets some users in, especially in the beginning.
