How to raise funds without VC?

What options do we, Indie Hackers have when we want to raise some funds, but are not the right fit for venture capital?

Raising venture capital usually means your investors only want one outcome; you need to liquidate your equity at some point, through IPO or acquisition).

For 99% of the other companies that have no probability of acquisition or IPO, what are your options to raise funds?
