How to schedule 1-1 meetings among my members?
I've been interviewing more community members to solve the general feeling of isolation most solo and small-firm lawyers felt pre-covid. Since COVID-19, many lawyers are remote working and even those working in firms feel disconnected from their colleagues. But no one is reaching out because they don't want to disturb others.
Instead, people are joining communities. I have two on facebook. One with around 400 people and another with 900 people.
I'd like to pair people up by experience, practice areas, and schedule them for 1 to 1 meetings kind of like Lunchclub.ai does. Is there a software platform that does this?
For those not familiar with lunchclub.ai, the user enters an intro and talks about their goals and interests. Then you enter the dates and times you're available (usually a 2-4 hour window around the lunch hour). A day or two later you get an email with your match.
Honestly, I'm doubtful it's truly automated. But if it wasn't - what's the easiest way for me to implement this manually? Have members fill out a form on google sheets and somehow filter it?
I haven't seen something quite like you describe (but I'd be very interested to use in my community too - the Slack-based ones get a lot of excitement early on then die off.)
The closest I've seen is Meetaway, which turns the experience into more of an 'event' with quicker round-robin meetings. I don't love this myself, since I prefer to facilitate deeper relationships, but it's an interesting setup nonetheless.
