Marketers use trigger persuasion to make you buy their product.

What is trigger persuasion?

  • A persuasion trigger is any marketing tactic that convinces individuals to take action that boosts your brand.

1. THE HALO EFFECT :

In simple words, the halo effect is a positive experience of a product. In business when your customer sees your product for the first time the Halo Effect starts compiling.

2. CHOICE OVERLOAD :

It's a good idea to have choices, but too many choices will overwhelm the customers. In business especially with pricing plans give customers limited choices and do not over-complex the pricing choices.

3. THE FRAMING EFFECT :

The framing effect is a cognitive bias where people decide on options based on the framing.

People are generally biased to pick a positive (e.g. a glass half full) over a negative (e.g. a glass half empty) even if both options yield the same result.

4. ANCHORING EFFECT:

Anchoring effect is a form of cognitive bias that causes people to focus on the first available piece of information given to them when making decisions.

    I definitely love the graphics as they are easy to understand the concepts. I am getting ready to start a new business and am brainstorming ways to accomplish some of these techniques!
