How to speed up your organic marketing

One of the best ways to speed up your organic marketing efforts? Knowledge Bases.

What is this thing, who is it for, why should anyone care?

If you have to answer that every time you post, you burn out. If you answer it properly once, in a knowledge base, everything gets faster.

I'm not talking about a big corporate help center, I mean a single place (for me a Notion page) where every important detail about a product lives, structured in a way that marketing can use immediately.

This is the "template" I use for all my knowledge bases:

  • Product name
  • All the logo's
  • Short, shorter and long description
  • Link to website
  • Funding
  • Business Model
  • State (launched, not launched)
  • Launch date
  • Platform
  • Pricing
  • Potential categories
  • Is the product open source?
  • Discounts
  • MRR
  • Traffic
  • Competitors
  • Target audience
  • Product techstack
  • Product features

None of this is fancy. But having it in one place changes how fast you move. Pro tip - don't forget to update it.

Why is it useful?

  • You never start from a blank page.
If you're writing a post you already have a one-liner, a long description and a list of features. You just pick one angle and adapt

  • You can submit your product anywhere in minutes
    New directories, launch sites, communities.

  • Your message is consistent
Without a base, you describe your product differently every time. With one source of truth, everything slowly aligns.

  • Reduces mental load
Instead of remembering everything, you trust the knowledge base and shift your focus on other important things.

If you don't have one yet, start simple. It doesn't need to be perfect. You just need one good page that knows your product better than your memory does.
